JEN WAKEFIELD
BAFTA nominated screenwriter, writer and presenter
After a career as a Primary School teacher, Jen started her comedy career as part of sketch comedy duo 'Jiggle and Hyde'. They wrote their hour-long show and completed their first Edinburgh Fringe run in 2016. The following year Jen took her first solo character comedy show ‘Girl in Da Corner’ for a full Edinburgh Fringe run. The show was inspired by the responses to this article written by Jen about her Anglo-Indian heritage for Gal-Dem. Following this, the show then transferred to Soho Theatre. She then performed her own solo comedy set in the BBC tent at Edinburgh Fringe the following year which was aired on BBC iplayer, as part of the BBC Asian Network comedy event.

BBC Radio 1- The Comeback podcast- Main Presenter: Jen interviewed comedians and personalities such as London Hughes, Jamali Maddix, Amelia Dimoldenberg (Chicken Shop dates), Tolani T (The Reciepts Podcast), Sophie Duker, Olga Koch, Lauren Pattinson, Sarah Keyworth, Chris Washington and sketch performers and podcast hosts Birthday Girls.
Branded podcast for 'Laybuy'-‘Consumerosity’-Main Presenter: Jen hosted six episodes alongside Alex Rohloff the Co-Founder of Laybuy. The podcast focused on ‘Millenial Money Myths’ and how to tackle them whilst interviewing financial experts on the show (tyto PR)
